Steps to Get Out Of Debt

Before sharing these recommendations, I suggest that you have a way of tracking your expenses. This will give you a clear picture of what you spend daily, weekly and/or monthly and aid you in reducing expenses where needed.

1) Accept the fact you are in debt and forgive yourself. If you are in denial, you are more likely to repeat the pattern.

2) Reduce monthly expenditures. For example, once the price of gas increased, our monthly gas costs went from roughly $200 to approximately $450- 500.00. In an effort to reduce our gas costs, I stopped taking miniature trips every day. Also, my husband would drive my car on the weekends because it costs less in gas. Read the rest of this entry »

Didgeridoo Music And Sounds

Didgeridoo

From the heart

From the land

A soul instrument

You feel it

The sound of mother earth

The didgeridoo is one of the oldest instruments to make music in the world. It has been used in traditional Aboriginal ceremonies across the top end of Australia for tens of thousands of years. According to the myths of creation the sound of the didgeridoo helped create the world and everything in it. Originally, Aboriginal groups predominantly played the didgeridoo from the Kiberly region of Western Australia, through to the areas around current day Darwin and Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Dreaming of Dinosaurs

I looked to my left and saw the massive eye.

I trebled to my core.

I could hear the snorts and sniffs as I quickly ducked to the side of the window hoping I hadn’t been seen.

With each step the massive T-Rex dinosaur made the house vibrate like a massive subwoofer was playing in the distance. Around and around the titan circled. Sniffing, staring, trying to find the one thing that will slake its thirst for flesh.

Like  a mouse under the talons of an owl I scurried to close all the drapes, hoping that if only the eye didn’t find me, that I would be safe. That glassy unblinking eye. Read the rest of this entry »

Does Druid Ryme With 3 and 9?

Looking, and then things seem familiar.

Wanting something to ring true.

Something exciting…yet solid and real.

Then the first of three for making,

Feels real but not understood.

21 lessons to learn on the surface, but I still dont get lesson one.

Facing and mastering fear, owns the object that once mastered me.

In order to follow my path, my spirit has to be free.

Sea and stone, I’ve always known,

November 5th is my day.

Water and earth, since the day of my birth,

Have always held interest to me.

I keep on searching…for that which cannot be sought.

Is there a Druid In Me?

Artemis Pro and Smtp

Things are going good with my artemis pro campaign. I’m kind of stuck with the smtp thing though. You can use the internal list of ezine authours to send your articles to, but your own personalized list gets sent out through an SMTP server.

This is no fault of James software, I’ve run into this before. Some things on the net, I stone cold stumped on sometimes. I think the last time I had this problem it was with some link building software that sent out through an smtp. That I managd to set up so, now just to remember how I did that.

The only crappy part is I wrote a great article and sent it out already. You always run the chance that everything DID get sent out right but that no one picked up the article or responded. SHOCKING I KNOW!

Off I go to learn more about Smtp and if I have one!

Pain For A Cause

Want to hear a funny story? The other day I went down to a sports shop because I knew that were taking donations for MS. The girlfriend wanted to shop and I was in the mood to donate some money, so we went.

Off the cuff I said to the fundraiser girl that if she needed any help in the future, I would be willing to pitch in…..

The store owner was right beside me and said, “They could always use another rider!”. This is where I thought “Rider? What exactly are these folks doing?”  Turns out they were biking 150Km on pedal bike to raise money for MS. The store owner piped up at this point and said that he would donate $200 if I did it. The bike tour was in 3 days.

Now I have never biked farther than about 5 km to the gym I work at so I was getting a little worried. I said I could probably do it but I would lose the $210 that I would make in personal training that day. That would be right around when the store owner said “Well, I’ll donate $400 then”. From there on I was comitted.

This was Wednesday, by Saturday morning I had borrowed a bike, bought a tent and a sleeping bag (all the rooms had been booked already) and was ready to go.

The first day was hell.

I couldnt imagine why anyone would do this for fun. Those seats should be a lot bigger. For money maybe, but for fun…no way. The whole way felt like it was into the wind and uphill. It took me 5 hours and 46 minutes to go 90KM. I set up my tent and passed out.

Day Two ROCKED!!

The second day felt like it was all downhill with the wind at my back…I guess that kind of makes sense huh?

I listened to deepak on my mp3 player and some other guest speakers and the time flew by. I really enjoyed the second day and learned alot about living an awakened life from Wayne W Dyer.

All said and done, it was an interesting weekend that raised $635 for MS. Will I do it again next year? Depends on if someone donates enough!

Beating Adwords and making money

This is a relatively short post for now. I caught wind of a new book called Beating Adwords. Yes, thats an AFlink folks, I might as well get paid to review new products. Alan Zunak (my first internet mentor) gave me a heads up so I thought I would give it a once over. Stay tuned, I am still in the reading process.

June 8/2006

Well I must say that I am impressed. I usually buys these books and spend a good half hour hashing through stuff that is common knowledge with the slight hope that I didnt waste a few more of my hard earned bucks. Thats not the case so far with the beating adwords ebook. Read the rest of this entry »

When you have time to think

The dilemma comes when one day you realize you’re an adult. Suddenly you have the realization that all of your childhood illusions should have by now taken place. It now seems that your whole precious experience has been a journey-and now you’re at the destination. Maybe you’re not sure this is where you really want to live.

These are just thoughts of an average man, things that trouble me from time to time and I wonder if the same thoughts nag other people, or if maybe I should just try to ignore my deeper thought and try to preoccupy myself with the mindless activities and social games that seem to prevail over everyone else’s minds.

I wonder if there is actually a just cause or a morality worth upholding and to what end. Who is capable of giving the reward for achieving the highest order?

Everything seems like a game of make believe, I cant really see the usefulness of anything except helping other people. Especially easing their suffering. Self interests seem to be based on the journey and destination road, i.e., you work hard and long (giving you a sense of purpose) then you succeed and feel great satisfaction for a while, but then the process is over and you have nothing to preoccupy your mind from the larger nagging inquiries of your now unfocused consciousness. I AM

I am

To not be anything, holds the ability to be everything.

What is seen on the outside is not what you are, but what others

Perceive you to be.

When labeled with a title, you try to live up to that expectation, but the thoughts and actions of one thing, keep you from being another.

Be nothing and in this have the ability to become everything.

When unprogramed and free the mind is clear and startling realizations

Come…opportunity knocks.

Don’t waste time trying to find yourself, your already there.
