Viral Marketing Income

Viral marketing is the best way to drive traffic to your site and increase sales of the product that makes you money. The more traffic you can get, the more sales you will receive. If you now get 100 visitors a day and convert two percent of them on a $30 product then you are now making $60 dollars a day. If you can get off your butt and engage in some viral marketing to get your traffic to your sales page up to 200 visitors a day, then you just doubled your income.

One of the best ways to employ viral marketing is through the use of free ebooks. What you do is go out and gather some research on an area that is similar to product you are currently selling. You take this research and put together a mini 10 page report that people would find useful. You can do this in word and then convert it to PDF later for distribution.

Of course the point of the viral marketing is to help but not help too much. You want to be useful but still have something to offer in the form of your full product. For example you may write a report or article marketing and its viral effects on increasing your traffic and income. However, throughout this report you would advertise the article submission software that you created or are an affiliate of.

Now that you have the system in place, how would you get it out there to do its nasty viral work? First you can offer it as a promo or incentive to join your newsletter. Once its on peoples computers you never know where it will end up.

Another thing you can do is approach another expert in your field and ask about a joint venture. Often you will have a new product but no email list to promote it to. What you do is ask the expert for their click bank ID and insert it into the PDF file. Then the expert can virally disperse this great free report to his or her list because it is useful information and both the expert and yourself will get paid if anyone on his list buys.

One of the best things you can do is write articles. Lets say you put together a helpful article on viral marketing that would increase people’s income if they followed the tips. Then you could go out and disperse this article to article directories. From there the article on viral marketing goes viral as it is picked up by other webmasters to put on their own websites. When a reader of the previous website sees the useful article, they will want to visit your site and see what else you have to say that could help them out. If you build enough faith in your advice through constantly producing great information, you just may get a new customer.

Of course the last fish in the pan for using viral marketing to your advantage is that as long as you get the customer to visit your site you can always make some money. This is where adsense enters the picture. If after all your great advice, the reader still has no interest in your products or maybe they just do not have any cash they can click away. With adsense at least that click away will give you a couple of sense and by the end of the month can add up to a pretty decent income.

The bottom line is that viral marketing is a great way to increase your income. It doesn’t matter if you are selling a product or simply offering free advice with adsense on your site. More traffic through viral marketing of articles, free reports and joint ventures is the way those that are making money on the Internet are doing it.

Ebooks and Clickbank For Passive Income

Selling books or ebooks online using clickbank has to be one of the greatest gifts of the Internet age. The great thing about the Internet is that information is basically money. Gone are the days where you worked an hour and got paid for an hour. Gone are the days that when you begged to get an hour off from your boss you probably didn’t get paid for it. Now days with the Internet, if I know something you don’t and you want to learn it then I have created a business.

Right now I make a living on the Internet using a combination of clickbank and google adsense. I wont talk much about adsense here, but it makes my websites that don’t have a product produce a worry free income. My check gets put directly into my bank account and no matter where I am in the world; I have money getting put into the bank.

The thing with clickbank and digital products is that it is viral and exponential. Usually we think of viral as something bad, but if its something like money that is spreading then viral marketing is good. With clickbank the digital product I use to make money is ebooks. I happen to have knowledge in a couple areas that people would like to know more about, so I sell it. The opportunity that clickbank offers however is a massive number of affiliates that are willing to work to promote you if you pay them well.

This army of affiliates selling your clickbank ebook has several very interesting angles of opportunity. The first of course is the increase in traffic that will happen when clickbank affiliates start sending their website visitors your way. Traffic combined with a well written sales page can produce a lot of internet income.

The second boon that clickbank affiliates offer is all those inbound pointing links to your product page. The first thing that happens is your page rank will increase, then that will be reflected in your search engine placement thus resulting in even more traffic! Combined with your excellent copywriting skills, you have more money!

The third great thing about selling ebooks through clickbank is that as the first two factors escalate and your sales go up, so will your placement in the clickbank marketplace. This is great because once the affiliates in you niche see that your book is selling really well in the clickbank marketplace, what do you think they are going to do?

That’s right, you are going to get more affiliates signing up and your internet income is going to get even better.

Now you can see why digital product promotion through clickbank can be profitable. I chose ebooks because of its low cost but software and other digital products can do even better and get higher prices than ebooks. Once you get the ball rolling with clickbank, you can take a vacation and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Better yet though, why don’t you write another book on the topic of “enjoying the fruits of your labor while on vacation”?

Keith Awen has dramatically increased his sales page conversions as a result of using the Glyphius copywriting software by James D. Brausch to write killer sales copy that converts over 2% of visitors into buying customers. To see more of what this software can do for you, please visit Glyphius Copywriting Software

Summer Fun

Seeking Balance
http://www.seekingbalance.ca

As the school year comes to an end, I find this month a very busy
time.  With the summer vacation coming, many of us are looking
forward to a less hectic schedule and more down time.  This all seems
like a great summer plan, yet the summer seems to pass us by so
furiously and in September we are asking ourselves, where has the
summer gone??? We may end up feeling just as stressed and exhausted
when school starts as when it ended.

So, how can we begin to slow down and ensure a memorable and
rejuvenating few months?

Consider first the reasons why you may be demanding so much of
yourself.  What is the rush?  Does everything need to be done at this
moment?  Can you take small steps towards achieving big goals instead
of feeling the need to accomplish it all at once?  The summer flies
by so pick your projects sparingly so you can have time to enjoy the
kids and still have down time for Mom as well.

To be more productive and efficient in reaching our goals, we need to
take time for renewal.  How do you fit some relief into your busy
life?

Start by making a habit of deep breathing several times throughout
the day.  It triggers an automatic relaxation response and can be
done anywhere.  It keeps you focused in the present moment and
reduces stress immediately. For more ways to reduce stress where the
kids are concerned, check out my FREE e-course on How to Prevent a
MumME Meltdown at www.seekingbalance.ca under Free Resources.

Take frequent small breaks whether you are home or at work.  Coffee
breaks were designed for a reason, so use them effectively.  Do not
pass on your break thinking you will accomplish more.  We need this
down time for maximum efficiency.  Be aware however, of how you spend
your break, because a healthy snack, short walk, and stretch are more
energy producing than a coffee and doughnut.  If you are home, take
time to relax outdoors with a cool drink and revel in the beauty of
the sights and sounds of the summer season.

Do what you love on a regular basis.  If you have a favorite sport or
activity, make sure you participate in it often.  An hour or two a
week of doing what you love can have many positive benefits, mentally
and physically.  Having time for yourself during the summer gives you
the stamina and energy to enjoy more fully, your time with the kids.

Ask the kids at the beginning of the summer, what are some of their
favorite past times.  This way you can plan ahead and your children
get to feel valued by being asked.  It also ensures that they get to
enjoy what they really love to do.  Be aware though of over
scheduling your summer.  Strike a balance of fun activities for all
family members involved.

Make your holidays a priority.  Vacations are a luxury no longer–
they are a necessity.  You need time to recharge and rejuvenate from
the daily stressors.  If you are having a difficult time taking
vacation due to job demands, consider taking a day of down time when
you can squeeze it in.  Remember; nurture yourself first and everyone
else will also benefit.

Make exercise, sleep, and good nutrition part of a healthy, rewarding
summer for the whole family.  There is nothing harder than reaching
September and having those extra pounds to lose and having to get
back into an exercise routine.  With less of a regular routine for
many families it is easy to get away from established healthy
routines regarding meals and sleep.  There is opportunity for many
late nights, yummy barbequed hot dogs and huge ice creams cones to
cool down on a hot day.  A summer certainly wouldn’t be a summer
without all these things.  Keep in mind, however, more isn’t better
in this case.  Enjoy and savor them all when you have the opportunity
but balance it out with days of early nights, corn on the cob and a
frozen yogurt!!!

The most important thing to remember about the upcoming summer months
is to make them memorable. You do that by being present and taking
the time to stop and smell the roses.  As most of you realize, life
passes us by very quickly and we don’t appreciate the time we do have
together as a family.  Often we are so busy with schedules, yard work
and disciplining that the real memories pass us by… a bike ride
through a beautiful trail, the marshmallow roast on a moonlit night,
the camping trip when the tent fell down and the water fight when Mom
got soaked from a water balloon gone wrong.

So, this summer make sure at the top of your to do list it says…
Enjoy!!! And not just the special occasions but every occasion
because life really is just one big special occasion, isn’t it?

So when you are kicking up your heels in delight and someone asks you
what you are celebrating you can say… Life!!!!

Google search engine optimisation

Search engine optimisation or optimization (with a ‘z’ or is that
‘zee’ if your from across ‘the pond’) techniques are constantly
evolving. This evolution is in response to the evolution of
search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. Google in
particular has come to be seen as the most sophisticated and
advanced search engine as it is armed with an array of anti-spam
technology.

Google’s increasing use of anti-spam features has meant that
optimising websites for Google has become much harder and it’s
now not just a case of opening your websites source files in
notepad, adding some keywords into your various HTML tags,
uploading your files and waiting for the results. In fact in my
opinion and I’m sure others will agree with me, this type of
optimisation, commonly referred to as onpage optimisation will
only ever be 20% effective at achieving rankings for any keywords
which are even mildly competitive. Those of us who aced maths in
school will know this leaves us with 80% unaccounted for.

This 80% corresponds to offpage optimization. Offpage
optimization is all to do with the amount of links pointing to
your site and its pages, the actual linking text (anchor text) of
these links and the quality of the pages which the links are on.
Offpage optimisation is now for sure the overwhelmingly
dominating factor which decides where a site will rank in Google.
That then is what I mean by the 80/20 rule, I’m not talking about
the pareto rule which means that in anything a few (20 percent)
are vital and many (80 percent) are trivial, I’m not sure that
applies to SEO.

What is the logic behind this then, why does Google give so much
‘weight’ (80%) to offpage optimization efforts and so little
(20%) to onpage optimisation. Well simply put it is all about the
quality of their results. Whereas onpage optimisation is
completely controlled by the webmaster and can thus be abused by
an unscrupulous one, offpage optimisation is something that is
not controlled by anyone as such by rather by other webmasters,
websites and indeed the Internet in general. This means that it
is much harder to conduct any underhanded or spammy offpage
optimisation methods in the hope of gaining an unfair advantage
for a website in the Google SERPS (Search Engine Result Pages),
this does not mean it is impossible though.

Let’s elaborate for a paragraph or two just why offpage elements
such as incoming links are deemed by Google to be such a good
measure of relevancy, thus making offpage optimisation the most
effective method of optimisation by far. Take the anchor text of
incoming links for instance, if Google sees a link from SITE A to
SITE B with the actual linking text being the words ‘data
recovery london’, then SITE B has just become more relavent and
thus more likely to appear higher in the rankings when someone
searches for ‘data recovery london’. SITE B has no control over
SITE A (in most cases.) and Google knows this. Google can then
look at the link text and say to itself, why would SITE A link to
SITE B with the specific words ‘data recovery london’ if SITE B
wasn’t ‘about’ ‘data recovery london’, there is no answer so
Google must deem SITE B to be ‘about’ ‘data recovery london’.

I said ‘in most cases’ above because often webmasters have
multiple sites and would crosslink them with keyword rich anchor
text, but there is only so many sites and crosslinks any
webmaster can manage, again Google knows this and so as the
number of backlinks and occurrences of keyword rich anchor text
grows (and with that grows the unlikelihood of anything unnatural
like crosslinking going on) so to does the relevancy of the site
which all the backlinks point to. Imagine hundreds or thousands
of sites all linking to a website X with variations of ‘data
recovery london’ type phrases as the linking text, well then
Google can be pretty dam sure that website X is ‘about’ ‘data
recovery london’ and feel confident about returning it in the top
10 results. This is why they place so much importance (80%) on
offpage ranking factors such as links; they are simply the most
reliable way of checking what a site is about and indeed how well
it covers what it is about. This reliance on hard to cheat
offpage factors is what produces the quality search results we
all know, love and use everyday.

The moral of the story from an SEO point of view then is to spend
less time on those little website tweaks which you think might
make a big difference (but won’t) and work hard on what really
counts, what really counts is how the web ’sees’ your website,
the more quality (keyword rich) incoming links your website has
the better the webs ‘view’ will be and therefore the better
Google’s view of your website will be. What Google thinks of your
website is very important, as they ‘look after’ websites which
they like.

Make Money with Google Adsense

If used properly, it can generate a very large and healthy
income for you. However if you are not using it correctly
and just maximizing the income you squeeze from it, you are
actually leaving a lot of money on the table, something all
people hate doing. How you can start earning money with
Adsense can be done quickly and easily. You will be amazed
at the results you get in such a short period of time.

Start by writing some quality content articles which are
also keyword optimized. There are a lot of people given the
gift of being good with words, writing comes easy for them.
Why not make it work in such a way that you will be earning
some extra cash in the process.

There are actually three steps to keep in mind before you
begin writing your ads and having an effective Adsense.

Keyword search. Find some popular subjects, keywords or
phrase. Select the ones which you think has more people
clicking through. This is actually a keyword selector and
suggestion tool that some sites are offering to those who
are just their Adsense business.

Writing articles. Start writing original content with
keywords from the topics that you have achieved in your
search. Take note that search engines are taking pride in
the quality of their articles and what you will be writing
should keep up with their demands.

Quality content site. Build a quality content site
incorporated with Adsense ads that is targeting the subject
and keywords of your articles and websites. This is where
all that you’ve done initially will go to and this is also
where they will prove their worth to you.

The proper positioning of your ads should be done with
care. Try to position your ads where surfers are most
likely to click on them. According to research, the one
place that surfers look first when they visit a certain
site is the top left. The reason behind this is not known.
Maybe it is because some of the most useful search engine
results are at the top of all other rankings. So visitors
tend to look in that same place when browsing through other
sites.

Some of those who are just starting at this business may
think they are doing pretty well already and thinking that
their clickthrough rates and CPM figures are quite healthy.
However, there are more techniques and styles to generate
more clicks to double your earnings. By knowing these
techniques and working them to your advantage, you will
realize that you will be getting three times more than
other people who have been previously doing what they are
doing.

Finally, Adsense has some excellent tracking statistics
that allow webmasters and publishers to track their results
across a number of sites on a site by site, page by page,
or any other basis you wanted. You should be aware of this
capability and make the most of it because it is one
powerful tool that will help you find out which ads are
performing best. This way, you can fine tune your Adsense
ads and focus more on the ones being visited the most
rather than those that are being ignored.

Another thing you should know. Banners and skyscrapers are
dead. Ask the experts. Surfers universally ignore these
kinds of ad formats. The reason behind this is that they
are recognized as an advert and adverts are rarely of any
interest that’s why people ignore them.

To really start making money with Adsense, you should have
a definite focus on what you want to achieve and how you
will go about achieving this. As with any other kind of
business venture, time is needed coupled with patience.

Do not just ignore your site and your Adsense once you have
finished accomplishing them. Spare some time, even an hour,
making adjustments to the Adsense ads on your sites to
quickly trigger your Adsense income.

Blogging - A Guide for Beginners

Instead of writing text, some bloggers choose to make their
blogs more audio friendly by using spoken word entries,
this is called audio blogging.

Basically a blog contains the following features:

Title - This allows you to label your post.
Body - This is the content of your post.
Trackback - Other sites can be linked back to your blog.
Permanent Link - Every article that you write has a URL.
Comments - This allow readers to post comments on your blog.

One of the advantages of blogging is that it is made of
only a few templates, unlike other websites that are made
up of numerous individual pages. This makes it easier for
blog users to create new pages, because it already has a
fixed setting that includes: slots for title, body of the
post, category, etc.

This is especially useful for first time users, since they
can start blogging right away. They can choose from a
number of templates that blogging websites provide.

Anyone who wants to start a blog can do so by becoming a
member of a blogging website of their choice. Once they’ve
become members, they automatically become a part of that
particular blogging community. They can browse through
other bloggers pages and link them back to their own blogs.
They can also make comments on other members’ blogs.

Blogging is not just limited to personal usage. There are a
lot of blogs that follow a theme such as: sports, politics,
philosophy, social commentary, etc. These blogs espouse on
their specific themes. This way blogging becomes a medium
in which people can share their knowledge and opinions
about a variety of themes and topics.

Some bloggers even use their blogs as a means to advertise.
Some authors advertise their books on their blogs, while
other bloggers use their blogs to shed light to currents
issues, events, news and catastrophes.

Nowadays in education, blogs also play an important part.
Professors use blogging to document the lessons that they
have discussed and taught, this way students who have
missed classes can easily catch up with their assignments.

A lot of entrepreneurs benefit from blogging by promoting
their businesses on their blogs, with millions and millions
of people logging onto the net everyday, blogging has
become a lucrative move. Some bloggers who run online
businesses promote their merchandise online, while others
profit through advertisement.

The most popular blog type, by far, is the one that takes
the form of a personal journal. This is the kind that is
usually used by first time bloggers. Individuals who want
to document the daily struggle of their everyday lives,
poems, rants, and opinions find that blogging offers them a
medium in which to express themselves.

Bloggers usually communicate within themselves. This is one
of the appeals of blogging. It creates a community of
people sharing their ideas, thoughts and comments with each
other.

Blogs varying in topics, themes and set-ups can be found in
blog directories. First time users who want to get an idea
of what the blogging world is all about can browse through
a number of blogs using these directories. This way they’d
get an idea of what these blogging communities are like.

Blogging is popular all over the world. Blog is short for
the term WebLog. There are no rules when it comes to
blogging. Bloggers have the freedom to express themselves
how ever way they want and the best thing about blogging is
that most blogging sites are free.

There are numerous blogging websites to choose from on the
net giving first time users the option to join a blogging
community that appeals to their interests.

Just search any blogging directory and you’ll get a listing
of a lot of blogging sites that are available on the net.
It’s easy to search a blogging directory, because it is
organized according to category. This way you can get
exactly what you are after. Blogging is really for
everyone, it is fun, simple and easy.

How To Cope With Growth And Change

It has been said that change is the only constant in life.
Change is taking place everywhere around us, all the time.
As we navigate the winds of change, we all need support:
whether going through a divorce, recovering from an
illness, embarking on a spiritual awakening or starting
over in a new community.

All forms of change require us to learn new ways of being
and functioning. One of the most valuable gifts you can
give yourself during times of change is to find appropriate
support.  A basic understanding of the learning process
that moves us through change will boost your ability to
find meaningful support for every stage of your journey.

Humans move through three core stages in every area of
change and growth – whether you are trying out a new sport
or adjusting to life after losing a loved one. You may find
yourself at a beginning stage in one area or your life and
an advanced stage in other areas of your life.  Success
lies in being able to determine how your personal learning
needs to be support with appropriate feedback, support or
adjustment.  When we get stuck in any one stage, growth
stagnates.

Beginning Stage – Knowledge

The beginning stage of learning or change is the thinking
or cognitive stage. This is the stage where you may decide
to learn more about something - perhaps you choose to
explore spiritual realities and delve into many traditions,
teachings and materials.  During this stage, you spend a
lot of time acquiring information, processing new concepts
mentally, and figuring out how everything fits together.

During the beginning phase, personal growth tends to be
sporadic, uncoordinated and often somewhat lopsided – not
unlike watching a toddler taking their first solo steps.
Mistakes are common and it is often difficult to filter out
irrelevant information, since discernment is a skill that
gets refined with time and practice.  You may get
overwhelmed easily when there are too many things happening
in your life at one time or if you put pressure on yourself.

One of the most valuable forms of support during this phase
is to ask for constructive feedback and encouragement from
others.  You can also support your own progress by giving
yourself room and grace to fail, and making a commitment to
keep going after each setback.  Repeated effort provides
the practice needed to become more familiar with the new
skill or learning.

Intermediate Stage - Application

In the intermediate stage, you start applying what you have
learned so far to implement meaningful change into your
life.  You now move beyond simply knowing about things into
practical application of your knowledge; you experiment
with new and different ways of being in order to live it.
During this phase, you start connecting the dots in your
learning.  With the experience gained from practical
application, you start shifting your perspective to embrace
new attitudes. On the spiritual journey, this stage finds
you moving out of the intellect and into the heart, from
where you start clearing away everything that is illumined
by your emerging Higher Awareness as no longer useful.

During the application stage, you may try many different
approaches to your goal before experiencing a sense of
accomplishment.  Clients looking for tools of
self-transformation often experiment with different
meditation techniques or forms of exercise during this
stage.  Since practical application brings about real-world
outcomes, you may also become acutely aware of the external
environment in which you operate.  This heightened
sensitivity can bring with it a strong need for external
encouragement on your progress to build confidence and
assurance. If not balanced with your personal convictions,
this need for external affirmation can evolve into
expectations of external validation that may erode your
personal power.

On the journey of personal growth, you will spend most of
your time in this stage, continuously challenging and
clearing outdated beliefs to facilitate continued growth.
Constructive feedback becomes vitally important and you may
rely on a few trusted sources for feedback.  There is also
a need to balance input from others with increasing
responsibility for your own growth.  You take on more
responsibility by actively maintaining balance, clearing
out dissonant beliefs, aligning to your core truths and
reconciling your inner life with outer differences.

Advanced Stage - Integration

In advanced states of learning, you take full
responsibility for your actions and your behavior becomes
self-regulating. You have moved from the stage of knowing
about things, to doing it, and now you are becoming it.
You no longer look outside yourself for affirmation,
guidance and support, but find it through your ever-present
connection to Source.  Listening and dialoging with the
Divine Presence within, becomes an automatic, on-going
process that facilitates personal diagnosis and adjustment
in areas of imbalance whenever needed.

Functioning at this level brings about a keen awareness of
your interconnectedness to all forms of life.  This
emerging awareness makes you highly effective at being a
positive influence for change, shifting the level of
consciousness around you simply through the sum total of
what you have become. At this level, growth or development
may be incremental and may appear smaller, because the
individual deals with fine-tuning and deep inner work that
may not be visible to others.

The next time you feel a little lost on your path, take a
look at which stage of learning you are at in the area
where you feel wobbly.  Then, find support that will offer
you appropriate correction and feedback for that stage of
your process.  You’ll be amazed at the difference this
awareness brings!
